@Nillion held private funding rounds in December 2022 and October 2024, which is when Maelstrom made its initial investment. Subsequently, the Token Generation Event (TGE) and exchange listing for $NIL took place in March 2025.
What’s interesting here is that certain investors were involved with the project well before the tokens became available on the open market. That said, one should not base decisions about a project's future solely on the presence of high-profile investors.
