$BTC Next Movement: Bearish Pressure Builds
Bitcoin (BTC/USDT) is showing a clear bearish setup on the 1-hour chart after a sharp rejection from the 86,400–86,700 area. The latest sell-off pushed BTC below the 84,000 psychological level, while selling volume increased significantly.
Price is currently around 83,861, with the recent low near 83,615. BTC is also trading below the 5, 10, 30 and 60-hour moving averages, indicating that short-term momentum remains weak.
The most important zone now is 83,300–83,600. If buyers defend this area and BTC reclaims 84,800–85,000, a relief bounce toward 85,600–86,000 could develop. A stronger recovery above 86,000 would improve the short-term structure and potentially open the way toward 86,700–87,000.
However, if BTC breaks decisively below 83,300, bearish momentum could accelerate toward 82,000, with 81,500 becoming the next major support area.
My view: The immediate bias remains bearish, but the 83.3K–83.6K zone is critical. Rather than chasing the dump, traders should watch for either a confirmed bounce or a clean breakdown.
