#ETHUp70%InQ3ButLiquidityFalls

ETH gaining around 70% in Q3 looks impressive on the chart — but there’s another side of the move that traders shouldn’t ignore: liquidity has weakened.

A strong price increase with falling liquidity can mean the rally is being driven by a narrower flow of capital rather than broad market participation.

That doesn’t automatically make ETH bearish. But it does make the move more sensitive to volatility.

If liquidity continues to decline while ETH pushes higher, sudden pullbacks can become sharper because there may be less depth to absorb selling pressure.

For me, the key question now isn’t simply “Can ETH go higher?”

It’s:

Can ETH maintain higher prices while liquidity and trading participation recover?

If liquidity starts expanding alongside price, the Q3 rally gets stronger confirmation. If price rises while liquidity keeps drying up, I’d stay more cautious and wait for confirmation rather than chase.

Price tells the story. Liquidity tells us how strong that story really is.

DYOR. Not financial advice.
