$NEAR got the ETF that $XRP has had for almost a year NEAR's spot ETF (NRR) launched September 29 on NYSE Arca, the first one ever for the token. The run-up was wild: NEAR gained 183% in September alone, from about $2 to north of $5, almost entirely on anticipation. Since the ETF actually started trading, the chart has cooled off a $5.57 peak; AMBCrypto's blunt verdict: the reaction "isn't impressed." XRP already lived this exact movie. Its ETFs launched back in late 2025, and the demand never really stopped; 11 straight weeks of net inflows, $1.79 billion raised, $121 million in September alone. And yet XRP sits near $1.50, down enough that total ETF net assets are actually shrinking even as fresh money keeps showing up. The inflows are real. The price just stopped listening. That's the pattern worth watching. NEAR's rally ran almost entirely on "the ETF is coming." XRP shows what happens months after it arrives: steady institutional buying becomes the new normal; and normal doesn't move a chart the way anticipation does. NEAR does have real substance behind the hype, though. Its Intents protocol has processed $32 billion, up from under $1 billion a year ago, and Bitwise's own research frames it as clearinghouse infrastructure for AI agents, with a 2030 base case near $156. Whether that story holds up better than XRP's slower grind is the actual question here; not which ETF launched first. #Altcoin Season# #CMC Quest: Earn Rewards# #BTC Price Analysis#
