Robinhood Chain Hit $1B. The Hard Part Starts Now.

On Monday, Robinhood Chain was just $4M away from $1B in TVL.

It has now crossed the milestone at approximately $1.01B, reaching $1B from $1M in 79 days.

But reaching $1B has never been the only metric worth watching.

Our dataset shows:

34 chains have crossed $1B in TVL.
10 chains remain above $1B today.
The median share of peak TVL still held today is just 3%.

The fastest arrivals often struggled to retain their liquidity:

• Berachain( $BERA ): 1 day → 1.1% of peak retained
• Plasma ( $XPL ): 1 day → 8.5%
• Blast: 12 days → 1.4%

But taking longer didn't guarantee retention either:

• Linea: 777 days → 1.6%
• Aptos: 753 days → 4.4%
• Sonic: 104 days → 1.6%

The notable exceptions:

• Base: 241 days → $6.28B today, its recorded peak
• Hyperliquid ( $HYPE ): 164 days → $1.27B today

The pattern suggests that speed alone doesn't explain durable TVL.

The underlying question is what the capital came for and whether users have a reason to keep it there.

For Robinhood Chain, that leads to another metric: concentration.

Current DeFiLlama data shows roughly $558M in Morpho Blue TVL and $277M in Uniswap TVL on Robinhood Chain.

$1B is the headline.

Retention and concentration are what we'll be watching next.
