If you're still fully hedging every long like the 2022 bear never ended, stop now.
Over-hedging after a potential bottom has wrecked more traders than actual dumps, leaving them watching the bounce from the sidelines or getting squeezed on shorts they never needed. That FOMO sting after missing your own lower entries is brutal.
I'm only hedging half of my continuation long this time, not the full spot or swing exposure. Those lower entries still sit roughly 20% below current $BTC price, so there is no reason to protect them if the macro bottom is already in. This looks a lot more like the 2019 grind after the 2018 crash than the over-hedged squeeze of last cycle, when competing alts like $ETH recovered while panic shorts sat it out. $BNB holders who stayed patient through similar setups came out ahead too.
Where do you think this goes from here if the bottom really is in?
