Just pumped hard…. up about 33% in the last hour. Open interest climbed with it (+6.4%), so the move had some real positioning behind it, not pure thin liquidity.
Funding is sitting pretty elevated at +0.0859% and it’s been consistently positive. That’s the part that makes me cautious. When price and OI rise together but funding gets this crowded, the risk of a sharp reversal usually goes up.
Not calling any trades here. Just watching whether price can hold these levels while funding starts cooling off. That’ll tell us if this move has legs or if it’s getting stretched.
