Tether has reportedly minted $500 million worth of USDT on Solana in less than an hour, adding a significant amount of fresh stablecoin supply to the network.
The timing is worth watching. Solana already holds around $16.4B in stablecoins, with USDC currently dominating the chain, while Tether’s USDT supply on Solana sits around $2.5B.
