TRIFI SERIES | EPISODE 1 🧩
DECODING TRADFI: THE ORIGINAL FINANCIAL WORLD
Before Crypto. Before DeFi. There was TradFi.

TradFi = Traditional Finance - the financial system built around established institutions, markets and financial products.
Think:
🏦 Banks — deposits, loans, mortgages
📈 Stocks — shares of publicly listed companies
📊 ETFs — baskets of assets traded on exchanges
🥇 Commodities — gold, silver, oil and more
💵 Bonds — lending money to governments or companies

HOW DOES IT WORK?
TradFi typically relies on institutions such as banks, brokers, exchanges, clearing systems and regulators to connect people with financial markets.

Real-life example:
You open a brokerage account → deposit money → buy shares of a company → the broker and financial infrastructure handle the transaction.

TradFi is the financial system most of us already know.
But then something changed.
Crypto introduced a new financial model.
And then came DeFi, which moved financial functions onto blockchain and smart contracts.

That brings us to the bigger picture:
TradFi × CeFi × DeFi = TriFi

But first, we need to decode each world.
