$ONE is showing an extreme volatility event on Binance Futures. On the 1D chart, Harmony (ONE) has surged from the recent low around 0.0005839 to an intraday high near 0.0017733, representing a very large move in a short period. The screenshot shows an Index Price of 0.0017580, while the Last Price is 0.0016396, creating a noticeable gap between index and contract price. Binance also shows approximately 410.26M USDT in 24h volume, with 344.96B ONE traded.
Importantly, Binance announced today that the Last Price Protected (LPP) mechanism for ONEUSDT Perpetual is ending. The Mark Price is transitioning toward the standard calculation, and the funding-rate cap is being increased from ±0.005% to ±2.00%. If the funding rate reaches the limit at settlement, Binance says the funding interval can move from 4 hours to 1 hour.

The chart therefore needs to be read carefully: this isn't simply a normal breakout. Price protection, mark-price mechanics, funding conditions, huge volume and the enormous daily candle are all relevant to the current ONEUSDT setup. Traders should monitor the difference between Index Price, Mark Price and Last Price, along with funding and liquidation activity, because extreme volatility can produce rapid moves in both directions.
