I just got stopped out.
$ETH /USDT 15m Update - 20:30
Last Price: $2,403.66 | 24h Low: $2,388.00
SL Hit: $2,400 exactly as market swept $2,388 low
What happened?
- Price dumped from $2,614 to $2,388 today
- 24h Volume 5.10M ETH / 12.76B USDT - extreme fear
- EMA(5) $2,420 < EMA(20) $2,452 - full downtrend
- Order book flipped to 88% Sellers - panic selling
My mistake? I placed SL at obvious support $2,400. Smart money took liquidity below it at $2,388 and then reversed slightly. Should have placed SL at $2,380 or used smaller position size.
Lesson: Never put SL at round numbers where everyone puts.
