This is critical for Terra Classic.
The community pool has 1.23B LUNC + 62K USDC locked in LUNC/USDC pools (Terraswap, Terraport, Garuda).
That USDC is Noble USDC on CCTP v1. Circle is shutting CCTP v1 down Dec 1, 2026. Noble runs ONLY v1 and is in maintenance mode - no v2 coming.
If we do nothing, that 62K becomes unredeemable. It loses its backing.
Prop 12226 migrates it to Injective USDC - the new canonical Cosmos USDC standard. No new spend, ∼$933 burn tax from position itself. Test tranche first, then 50% at a time so pools never go dark.
Deadline: Oct 31 burn limits drop, Dec 1 CCTP v1 paused.
