18 months of governance grind on $SOL finally paying off. SIMD 228 → SGP was a brutal path but respect to everyone who pushed it through.

Two massive fixes that actually matter:

1. Predefined parameters (discussion windows, voting periods, quorum thresholds, pass %) — no more meta debates derailing the actual proposals. Focus stays on substance.

2. Staker override — validators can't ignore their stakers anymore. Ultimate power where it belongs.

SIMD 228 exposed the validator/staker misalignment problem hard. Now stakers have the final say. That's how decentralized governance should work.

More iterations coming based on this vote's data. $SOL governance still early but moving in the right direction.
