I trust the "sent" label on a wire transfer more than I should. The screen says done. The money isn't actually done moving for a day, sometimes two. Somewhere between the tap and the ledger, there's a gap nobody points out to you.
That gap keeps coming back to me with DuskEVM. The pitch sounds almost too plain: same Solidity, same Hardhat, wallets that already work, nothing new to learn. Code runs the way it already did. But underneath, execution and settlement quietly split into two moments. A transaction gets included fast. Then it still has to travel, batched, proven, anchored to DuskDS. Two clocks, not one.
