Traditional finance already works around defined settlement moments. If blockchain infrastructure is going to support regulated markets, having predictable finality at the protocol level becomes extremely important.

That's the part of Succinct Attestation I find interesting.

It's not simply a performance feature.

It's a compatibility requirement with the kind of certainty financial infrastructure needs.

This also connects with why Dusk keeps emphasizing deterministic settlement. The idea isn't just that transactions happen quickly; it's that the network can provide a clear, predictable point of finality.
