I give my banking app veto power over every Binance P2P sale.
honestly... that sounds dramatic for something so ordinary.
but imagine my Order is 14,280,000 VNĐ.
the buyer marks payment complete.
a receipt appears in the chat showing exactly 14,280,000 VNĐ.
the sender name looks familiar.
everything on the screen is telling me the trade is ready.
except one thing.
my account still shows no matching incoming payment.
that single detail outweighs everything else.
before the Order, i check the counterparty profile, completion rate, transaction history and payment information.
during the Order, i keep the conversation inside Binance P2P.
but the final Release decision happens only after i open my own bank account and verify the actual funds myself.
a receipt can look correct.
a message can sound confident.
even the amount can match perfectly.
none of those can update my bank balance.
so if 14,280,000 VNĐ has not actually arrived, the crypto stays in Escrow.
no argument.
no hurry.
no “probably processing.”
if something remains unclear, i keep the Order ID, payment proof and relevant chat history instead of trying to remember everything later.
then i use Appeal or contact Binance Support when needed.
that habit has made P2P simpler for me, not slower.
i no longer ask whether the buyer seems convincing.
i ask whether my own account confirms the transaction.
my personal rule is stubbornly boring: Release follows verification, never persuasion.

what gets the final vote before you Release crypto... the payment message or your own bank balance?
