I think the bigger question is:
What happens when Bitcoin becomes the security layer for everything else?
For years, blockchains have been competing to build stronger security from scratch. More validators. More incentives.
More inflation.

Instead of asking Bitcoin to become a smart contract chain, it asks a simpler question:
Why not let Bitcoin remain Bitcoin while extending its economic security beyond its own network?
That's a very different vision.

Security may become a shared resource rather than something every network has to reinvent.
