What catches my attention on the ZEC chart isn’t $1,220.

It’s that a price starting at $15.78 reached $1,220 in roughly 26 months.

That’s a move of around 77x.

But on a chart like this, I don’t think the real question should be “how much further can it go?”

Because price alone only shows the distance. I’m more interested in how that distance is being reflected in the market.

The volume is especially interesting to me here. On the monthly chart on Binance, volume has reached around 1.25 billion USDT.

So we’re not just looking at a chart where the price has changed. We’re also seeing the market around ZEC become much larger.

ZEC at $15 and ZEC around $1,200 may be the same token.

But I don’t think we’re looking at the same market behavior.

After a 77x move, most people turn their attention to the next number. What interests me is what happens from here.

Because big moves make a token visible.

But the volume and price behavior that follow can start telling us what the market is actually willing to value.

That’s why, for me, the question with ZEC isn’t which number comes after $1,220.

It’s what kind of market this move from $15.78 has created around the $1,200 area.
