I’ve been keeping an eye on the upcoming token unlock calendar, and three names keep popping up in the same window PROVE, STABLE, and KAITO. Unlocks aren’t always the dramatic events people expect, but when the numbers get big relative to circulating supply, they’re worth paying attention to. Here’s a straightforward look at what’s coming based on the latest vesting data.
Succinct (PROVE) August 5
Succinct runs a decentralized prover network focused on zero-knowledge proofs. The PROVE token is used for payments to provers, staking, and governance on the network.
Right now circulating supply sits around 195 million out of a 1 billion total. On August 5 a sizable cliff unlock is scheduled trackers are showing somewhere in the 200–300+ million range, valued at roughly $34–35 million at current prices. That works out to more than 100% of the existing circulating supply in some reports. It’s one of the larger single events on the calendar this month.
Whether that supply actually hits the market hard depends on who receives the tokens and what they decide to do with them. Big unlocks like this often create short-term volatility, but the longer-term picture still hinges on actual usage of the prover network.
Stable (STABLE) August 8
Stable is a Layer-1 built specifically for stablecoin payments. Users pay gas in USDT, while the STABLE token is used for staking, network security, and governance. Total supply is capped at 100 billion.
The next unlock is the regular monthly Ecosystem & Community release: about 888.89 million STABLE tokens (roughly 0.89% of total supply), valued around $30 million. These have been coming out steadily for a while. Relative to the current circulating float it’s a more modest 3–4% increase compared with PROVE’s jump.
Because these are recurring ecosystem allocations rather than a big team or investor cliff, the market has already seen several similar events. Still, consistent monthly supply additions are something to keep on the radar, especially if liquidity is thin.
Kaito (KAITO) August 20
Kaito is an AI-powered InfoFi platform that indexes and surfaces Web3 information. The KAITO token handles governance, network incentives, and acts as the ecosystem currency (primarily on Base).
Circulating supply is around 241 million. On August 20 approximately 32.6 million KAITO (about $30–31 million) is scheduled to unlock, mainly going to core contributors according to the latest schedules. That represents roughly 7–10% of the currently released supply depending on the exact circulating figure used.
This is a more typical mid-sized unlock rather than an extreme one, but it still adds noticeable supply in a relatively short window after the previous July release.
Quick Takeaways
All three unlocks land within about two weeks of each other, with PROVE being the clear outlier in size relative to its current float. STABLE’s is part of an ongoing linear schedule, and KAITO’s sits in the more common mid-single-digit percentage range of circulating supply.
Token unlocks increase available supply that’s the simple part. The harder part is predicting whether recipients will sell, stake, or hold. Project utility, overall market conditions, and how transparent the teams are about the unlocks all matter more than the raw numbers alone.
These figures come from public vesting trackers and can shift slightly as data gets updated, so it’s always worth double-checking the latest schedules yourself. Unlocks are just one data point among many. As usual, this is observation, not advice do your own research and only risk what you can afford.
