Instead, scale in. For a $100 risk, divide into 3 entries ($33 each). Long BTC: 33% at $70,000. If it dips to $69,500, another 33%. Final 34% at $69,000. Your average entry improves, e.g., $69,490, spreading risk for a better overall position.

Scale out with partial TPs. At +1R, take 50% profit. Let the rest run. At +2R, take another 25% (half remaining). You've locked solid profit, making the trade virtually risk-free while 25% chases bigger returns. Protects capital, lets winners run.

Scaling *out* is crucial. Don't wait for your full target with everything. Lock in profits: Take 50% off at your first target (e.g., 1R). Move stop to breakeven on rest. Take another 30% off at the next target (2R), letting the final 20% run for bigger wins. Secure gains!

Instead, scale in. Divide your position into 3 smaller entries. Want 3 BTC contracts? Don't buy all at $60,000. Try 1 at $60,100, another at $59,950, and a final at $59,800. This improves your average entry and spreads initial risk.

Scaling out is equally vital. Don't take all profit at once. At TP1, take 50% (e.g., +2% profit) & move stop to breakeven. At TP2, take another 30% (e.g., +4%). Let the final 20% run with a trailing stop. This locks in profit, covers risk, and lets winners truly run.
