San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly has warned that the Federal Reserve may need to raise interest rates further to bring inflation under control. While she did not specify when or by how much, she said she is prepared to support additional tightening if economic conditions require it.

Daly also described the recent AI-related stock correction as painful but orderly, saying a modest slowdown in AI investment would not necessarily trigger a recession.
