Reef Weekly Update regarding February 13, 2026

Our team has been diligently working to align our external presence with our evolving strategy. As part of this effort, the Reef website now features updated copy that clearly articulates our new focus. From a promotional perspective, the marketing department has been consistently publishing content to share this refreshed narrative with our community. We also reached out to major data aggregators regarding these strategic shifts; submissions were sent to CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko, and the updates on CoinGecko are already finalized.

On the operational front, we have communicated with 7 centralized exchanges (CEXs), notifying them that they have until the end of the quarter to transition to REEF on the Reef chain. Furthermore, our operations division successfully concluded a comprehensive research campaign focused on identifying the most suitable DeFi protocols to onboard to the Reef Chain.

Meanwhile, the Developer Relations (DevRel) team is driving several fresh initiatives. They are currently engaged in developing technical marketing assets, creating new tutorials, and revising the official Reef documentation to reflect current standards.

Our development unit has received a new assignment to implement analytics features within ReefSwap. Simultaneously, the marketing department has finished a comprehensive industry assessment to validate our messaging and positioning strategies concerning tokenized equities.

Following the launch of the 2026 roadmap, we have resumed the evolution of the Reef visual identity. This initiative includes the creation of fresh graphics designed to drive the brand forward. On the business side, we have completed research to identify the most suitable VCs to contact regarding a potential equity offering.

We also reached out to all our partner CEXs to request updates to their company descriptions and blurbs about Reef, and several platforms have already completed these updates.

Important Update on $REEF Token Supply

We are pleased to announce the completion of our first token burn for the year 2026. In this latest operation, we successfully removed 35.8M REEF from circulation on Ethereum, alongside a reduction of 9M REEF on the BNB Smart Chain.

Reef Community Report: Week of Jan 30, 2026

We launched our yearly activities by holding our first AMA, during which we reviewed our milestones from 2025 and shared insights into our trajectory for 2026.

Work on Deep Current continues through the combined efforts of Antier Solutions and our internal developers. Please see the dedicated section below for specific details on this project.

Our recently hired Developer Relations staff and Social Media Manager have successfully integrated into their roles and are actively creating new materials.

For internal testing purposes, we have released version 1.0.7 of the Reef Chain Wallet. This update incorporates a significant restructuring of the code to enhance stability and address several minor security vulnerabilities we identified.

We are currently refreshing our marketing strategy, which includes revising website text, refining our core messaging, and redefining our target audience. You will begin seeing these adjustments roll out over the coming week.

Additionally, we are assessing prospective partners that fit our technology stack, specifically prioritizing those that support the objectives outlined in the Reef 2026 roadmap.

Deep Current Development Status

We have encountered a technical issue with the most recent Polkadot SDK release involving the 1:1 mapping of REEF amounts up to 18 decimal places. To address this, we have provided the Polkadot Foundation with access to our code repository so they can replicate and repair the error. While we wait for a resolution from Polkadot, we are consulting with Antier regarding potential temporary solutions. As soon as this issue is rectified, Deep Current will immediately advance to the testnet phase.
