DeFi vaults had always appeared to be simple—just deposit the funds, wait for the automated returns, and then take the profit. But after looking more closely at @TermMax and its Curator model, my view of structured finance has completely changed. 🧠

With fixed-rate lending, the annual percentage yield alone is not the only factor that matters. The way capital is allocated is closely related to maturity, the depth of liquidity, and risk management. The curators deliberately adjust the terms in order to control their level of risk and make sure that users do not encounter sudden liquidity problems.

Making the shift from passive variable yields to reliable, controlled fixed-rate strategies represents a major advance for on-chain finance. I'm really looking forward to seeing how @TermMax performs throughout different market cycles! 📊

I keep coming back to one TermMax number while reading the token schedule.

1B TMX sounds fixed and straightforward, but only 200M is expected to circulate at launch.

That makes max supply the obvious metric—and probably the less important one.

What matters first is free float, then how quickly that float expands.

Investor tokens alone imply roughly 11.67M TMX/month after the cliff. Add team + advisor unlocks, and monthly linear unlock pressure could reach around 17.67M TMX.

That’s not automatically a red flag. Scheduled dilution is normal.

The real question is: Is protocol revenue growing faster than circulating supply?

Are new TMX being absorbed through staking, governance, and genuine demand—or simply becoming more liquid?

The 150M team allocation is also 75% of the initial 200M float. Team + investors total 430M TMX, or 2.15× day-one circulation.

That changes how I interpret the “fixed 1B supply” headline.

And there’s another uncomfortable detail: a 110M TMX disclosure difference equals 11% of max supply.

At this scale, document versioning itself becomes tokenomics data.

I’m watching free float, not the headline billion.

Because supply discipline isn’t just about what eventually exists—it’s about what becomes sellable, and when.
