Either one of them is enough to make Bitcoin plunge—so why didn’t it fall and instead rose?
Earlier in a livestream, I said Bitcoin has two attributes.
One is that it rises and falls along with tech stocks.
The other is that it can hedge against excessive money printing, because its supply is fixed and never changes.
Obviously, the U.S. stock market was strong in the first half of the year; the AI and storage sectors were overheated, and big money had basically been doing the same kind of speculation.
But crypto performed very poorly in the first half of the year and has been in a declining bear market the whole time.
This rate hike, however, instead revealed Bitcoin’s second attribute. Combined with BlackRock’s plan to continue expanding its investment in Bitcoin as part of an asset
