Menurut KelpDAO, penyerang menguras sekitar 116,500 rs$ETH pada bulan April dengan memanfaatkan pengaturan jembatan lintas-rantai yang terikat dengan konfigurasi validator 1:1 yang telah dikompromikan—konfigurasi yang menurut KelpDAO disetujui oleh personel LayerZero.

Sebagai tanggapan, KelpDAO mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan migrasi dari LayerZero dan beralih ke Chainlink CCIP untuk kebutuhan pesan/jembatan lintas-rantai mereka, dengan menyebutkan dorongan untuk keamanan yang lebih kuat dan kontrol risiko ke depan.

CME Group is set to introduce Bitcoin Volatility Futures on June 1 (pending regulatory approval).
The new product is designed to give institutional investors a regulated way to trade or hedge Bitcoin’s volatility, with contracts settling against the CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate (BRR).
