US presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has pledged to end the Biden administration's "war on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency" if he is elected. During a campaign event in New Hampshire, DeSantis emphasized his support for Bitcoin and digital assets, promising to enable Americans to invest in cryptocurrencies. The Republican nominee also criticized central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), stating that they would not be implemented under his leadership. DeSantis is not the only presidential candidate with a pro-Bitcoin stance; Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez have also expressed support for the cryptocurrency industry.
