ETF flows turned green on Nov 5, but one quiet day doesn’t erase a heavy week. Bitcoin ETFs added just +208 BTC (+$16.56M) on the day, against a 7-day net outflow of 14,117 BTC (-$1.12B). Ethereum ETFs took in +16,825 ETH (+$40.18M), but the weekly figure is still -177,044 ETH (-$422.75M). A week ago, the 7-day BTC figure was close to flat at +$15.57M. The picture changed fast. Look underneath and the crowd isn’t one crowd. BlackRock’s IBIT lost 2,513 BTC on the day and 11,908 over the week, while Fidelity’s FBTC added 2,956 BTC. Same asset, opposite behavior. On Ethereum, BlackRock’s ETHA added 13,572 ETH on the day but has still shed 145,675 ETH across the week. Some desks are trimming, and others are buying the dip. What it could mean: weekly outflows alongside calm options pricing look more like quiet de-risking than panic. Nobody is rushing to buy protection, they’re just carrying less exposure. After a record exchange hack and $12.5B in October liquidations, caution fits. The risk is that outflows return while Bitcoin tests the $80K to $82K zone, adding weight to a market that’s already hesitant. The bullish possibility is a streak of green days, which would suggest the selling is fading. One day isn’t that. One green day is a pause. A streak is a story. #Macro Insights# #Altcoin Season# $BTC $SOL
