Are your pair legs really balanced? ⚖️

🔸 A leg size is simply the total position value in one of the two coins.
🔸 If your legs are different sizes, the pair remains dependent on overall market movement.
🔸 Coins move with different strength, so equal amounts are just a simple starting point, not a complete solution.
🔸 Prices constantly change and balance drifts over time, so you must check it regularly, not just at entry.
🔸 High leverage amplifies any balancing mistake and brings you closer to liquidation.

Example: A long on A for 1000 and a short on B for 400. Both grow by 10%, giving +100 and -40. The remaining +60 comes from overall market growth, proving the position was not neutral.

Typical mistake: Picking leg sizes by eye and assuming the pair is neutral.

How would you check the leg balance after price movements?
