XRP’s whale-to-retail outflow spread on Binance has rebounded sharply, with its gap over the all-exchange reading expanding in just six days, approaching levels observed in early August.

Between October 7 and 13, Binance’s 7-day average spread climbed from 53% to 63.5%, a 10.5-percentage-point increase.

Meanwhile, the All CEX reading rose just 1.7 points, from 46% to 47.7%.

Binance’s increase was 6.2 times larger in percentage-point terms.

The Whale vs Retail Spread measures the relative difference between large and small XRP exchange outflows, smoothed over seven days. A higher reading indicates greater dominance by larger transfers, not necessarily an increase in absolute whale withdrawals or confirmed accumulation.

The current 15.8-point gap is just 2.2 points below the approximately 18-point gap recorded on August 3, when Binance registered 62% versus 44% across all exchanges.

XRP traded near $1.07 at the time before subsequently climbing roughly 46% to around $1.56.

With XRP now near $1.36, the renewed divergence highlights a faster recovery in whale-relative outflow dominance on Binance than across the combined exchange market.
