Bitdeer Signs 10-Year Deal for 65.1MW AI Data Center in Malaysia.
Bitdeer Technologies’ AI cloud division has secured a 10-year data center services agreement for A202, a 65.1MW AI data center in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The facility is expected to be energized in Q3 2027.
A202 will be built on the same campus as Bitdeer’s existing 21.7MW A201 facility, bringing the Johor campus’ planned AI cloud capacity to 86.8MW. The site will support liquid-cooled NVIDIA systems, including GB300 NVL72 and Vera Rubin platforms, alongside GPU cloud and data-hosting workloads.
The deal raises Bitdeer AI’s secured cloud capacity to approximately 206.5MW, representing nearly 59% of its 350MW target for Q1 2028. Its active AI cloud pipeline has also reportedly surpassed $7 billion.
Bitdeer plans to finance much of the expansion through customer prepayments, with upfront payments expected to cover more than half of facility-related capital expenditure.
