In DeFi, I usually find myself checking the APY first. But the problem is that a high rate today doesnโt necessarily mean much tomorrow.
Thatโs where TermMax caught my attention. With fixed-rate borrowing, the rate is known upfront, so thereโs less guessing about how the cost might change later.
I also like the idea of simplifying leverage instead of making users go through several different steps just to build a position.
But I think the bigger question is still risk. A fixed rate sounds great, but how does the system perform when the market gets really volatile?
Thatโs probably what Iโll be watching most closely with TermMax.
