$LTC — The Coin Nobody’s Talking About, Doing Fine Anyway
Litecoin doesn’t get much airtime anymore, but here’s what’s quietly happening: Clearstream — Deutsche Börse’s custody arm, a serious European institution — just added LTC to its regulated custody lineup this week. Not a meme announcement, not a partnership press release with a logo swap. Actual institutional plumbing.
Price-wise, LTC bounced off $39 and is sitting near $45, trying to climb back above its 50-day average around $46.35. Open interest dropped hard, from $1.2B down to about $325M — traders de-risked, not doubled down. And coins keep leaving exchanges. That combination (less leverage, less supply on exchanges) is usually what a quiet base looks like, not a top.
Nothing exciting to say here honestly. It’s not going to 10x next week. But “boring and institutionally validated” is a different risk profile than most of what’s on your feed today — worth remembering that distinction. If $44 holds, next levels to watch are $46 then $50. DYOR.
