KOLs have audiences cause:
- They engagement farm (useless)
- They have good alpha (audience has money)
- They have based takes (good network)
- They are climb leaderboards (strong community)

You pay Jesus/YP/Cagy to help you promote a node sale? good conversion cause audience wants to make money

You pay any web3 KOL to shill a web2 game? bad conversion cause no one in web3 wants to play a web2 game

This space is filled with bad marketers, they are the ones spending money on bad creator-product fit

The KOLs are just taking advantage of that 😉☕️

If you can't make money as a creator in web3, you're doing something wrong.

I'm going to say some spicy opinions about creators, strap in😤🔥

Background:
- I've spent 6 figures/mo on creator acquisition and long term partnerships
- I've directly managed creators featured on MrBeast rewind + YT Rewind
- I've operated and ran agencies of different scales.

Context:
- Web3 has the lowest barrier to making $ as a creator.
- Being a creator means making money as a creator

In web2:
- Gaming has $1-$5 CPM.
- Gaming has the lowest ROI doing creator marketing to users as users are terrible at spending (highly skeptical + hate ads)
- You will NOT make a living until you get 250+ CCV or 25k+ views a video (you'd also need to spam content)
- web2 creators are POOR because all the marketing $ is sent to the top performers.

In web3:
- You have multiple channels to just try shit out and make $ (kaito, virtuals, etc.)
- You have heavily funded companies that have no content and always need KOLs
- kols = creators = influencer, you're an idiot who has never worked a real creator job if you try to differentiate

The barrier:
- You have no idea how to build a business
- You are lazy
- You make content people don't care about

The Outlook:
- AI does not care about being cringe
- Once crypto gets adoption, you will be replaced by web2 creators that have 5-10 years of content experience (majority of them already know about crypto, just don't make crypto content)
- It will be harder and harder to stand out with more bots and the new gen of chatgpt kids who want to be KOLs

The solution:
- Feel free to subscribe to me (you get no value)
- Feel free to dm me for help, I have helped out some of your most favorite and hated creators in web3 gaming
- Buy 5-10 Mokis so that you don't feel bad taking advantage of my time
- Stop being scared of what other ppl think

My assumptions:
- Engagement is weighted more now
- Follower amount matters (don't see anyone under 10k)
- Quality of content is still tbd (haven't seen any heavy diff between good/amazing)

Seeing a lot of infighting from this on @Ronin_Network so let me clarify some things

- EVERYTHING you see is incentivized, but Elisa has supported Ronin from the beginning (You post about your bags to pump them or to give ppl alpha)
- Jihoz has given support to a lot of community members out of his own pocket. Trung has given 1M ron to help tokens.
- Seems positive that the founders + company want to support the network?

If you don't like Elisa getting paid, it also means you don't think you should be paid. If you get better, brands will pay you too! Sorry to tell you, but gaming is the worst industry for payments and CPM.

Let's get to the real brass tax, market is shit. Token price down. Builders only come to Ronin to extract player liquidity or $ liquidity, and institutional support is all time low because AI>gaming.
