Overall nothing has changed over the last 4 months, we just keep moving sideways.
At some point this will change course and start trending to the downside - which means Alts will gain more and more attention.
Looking at this chart it shows why we didn't have a proper alt season.
In simple words the Bitcoin dominance trending up + the dominance of the stablecoins

Others #Altcoins Dominance
It looks like the Altcoin Dominance (excluding the top 10) is forming an inverse Head & Shoulders pattern.
Since this is developing on the weekly timeframe, it may take a little longer to play out.
However, if the pattern confirms, it could mark the beginning of a major reversal and kick off a sustained uptrend across the altcoin market.
Patience.
The bigger the timeframe, the bigger the potential move. 👽

Since the start of 2026, BTC has followed a pattern of making a major move every 60–68 days.
The next potential breakout or breakdown is due around 10 August.
Take a look at the previous two examples:
Late 2025 to early 2026: BTC consolidated for roughly 68 days before a major breakdown.
After that: Price traded sideways for another 68 days before breaking higher in mid-April, pushing into the $80k range.
We're currently about 55 days into another choppy, sideways phase.
If this pattern continues, I expect BTC to break out of this range and make a significant move within the next 10–12 days.

I think not taking the highs around $67.3k is what makes this scenario very possible.

I'm finding more and more similarities between these two charts.
We're now at the last line of defense the final bearish trendline before a potential explosive breakout in Copper vs. Gold.
The last time this happened, at the end of 2020, price spent around 2 months at this level before finally breaking out.
At the same time, Others.D bottomed, and the final leg higher for both Copper and altcoins (Others.D) began.
If history rhymes, Others.D could bottom by the end of August, while Copper vs. Gold starts breaking above its bearish trendline.
If that happens while Bitcoin breaks above $80k, I don't think the market is prepared for what could be a monster move in altcoins 👽

I wanted to share a scenario that’s been on my mind. We should be prepared for another 1.5–2 months of potential sideways, choppy price action.
If that’s the case, the best thing we can do is accumulate our favorite coins or simply sit back and be patient.
It’s extremely dangerous to chase every $200–500 move, especially when markets like oil can swing on a single tweet from Trump.
Also, summer is typically a period of lower volatility, so there’s no need to force trades. If we get a confirmed breakout, we’ll trade it. If we get a confirmed breakdown, we’ll trade that as well.
Until then, our priority is simple: protect your capital.

This chart shows just how important the $58k-$65k zone is.
This is the line that defines the market—bullish or bearish—for the years ahead. Now you can see why.
In 2021, this zone was the market's Great Wall of China, rejecting the bulls twice before the brutal bear market began.
In 2024, it took the bulls 7-8 months to finally reclaim this level and push Bitcoin above $100k.
Over the last 6 months, the bears have thrown everything they had at the market—the biggest wave of crypto FUD in history—and we're still holding this zone. That tells a story.
If we reclaim $70k+ in the coming weeks, I think there's a very strong chance the bottom is already in, and we're entering a new bull phase.
