SOL gave back almost 95% of a four-session gain in one day on Binance spot, without an increase in trading volume.

SOL/USDT climbed from a 103.47 close on October 17 to 106.97 on October 21, with four consecutive higher daily closes. October 22 closed at 103.65, down 3.10% for the day and almost back where that run started.

Yet the amount traded fell slightly: 1.82 million SOL on October 22 versus 1.87 million the day before, a 2.6% decline. Those are completed UTC sessions on one spot pair, not exchange-wide or derivatives volume.

For a trader considering buying the pullback, lower volume alone is a weak reason to treat it as mild. Nearly the entire closing-price advance disappeared. Equally, these figures don't show a surge in turnover that would support a high-volume capitulation story. They establish how much ground SOL lost, not whether sellers are exhausted or a bottom is in.
