Phishing is impersonation designed to get you to hand over access: a login page copied from the real one, an email "from support", a message saying your withdrawal is on hold. The page looks perfect because it was copied. The address bar is where it slips.

The defences are unglamorous. Type important addresses yourself or use saved bookmarks. Check the domain character by character before entering anything. Treat urgency as a red flag - "act within 30 minutes" is there to stop you thinking. And remember that a real platform never needs your password, seed phrase or verification code sent to it in a message.
