The four year halving cycle is not a law of physics. It is a recurring pattern shaped by supply shocks and human behavior.

• After the 2012 halving, BTC ran from roughly $12 to $1,150 within a year
• After 2016, it moved from around $650 to nearly $20,000
• After 2020, it went from $8,600 to $69,000
• After 2024, the supply cut dropped daily issuance from 900 BTC to 450 BTC. Yet price has not simply repeated the past

Each cycle delivered a smaller percentage gain than the last. Returns compress as the asset matures and liquidity deepens. That does not make this cycle weak. Spot ETF inflows crossed $50B in 2024 and 2025, giving institutional capital a regulated on ramp that did not exist in prior cycles.

Bear markets still hurt. BTC drawdowns of 70 to 80 percent happened in 2015, 2018, and 2022. Expecting a straight line up is how most people get shaken out.

The cycle is not dead. It is maturing. Markets reward patience, not prediction. 🌍
