And almost immediately, the bigger problem appeared.
Amazon blocked Muse.
Shopify, meanwhile, is integrating Shop Pay with Muse.
That's the emerging fault line:
AI agents want access to the internet.
Platforms control that access.
If agents become the interface between consumers and businesses, the scarce resource may not be intelligence.
It may be permission to transact.
That puts identity, authentication, payments, APIs and platform access at the center of the next AI race.
Muse's App Store ranking may therefore be less important than what happens next:
