#EthereumSurpasses$2700
What's happening
Ethereum briefly moved above the $2,700 psychological barrier, posting a short-term gain of roughly 2.8% in the last 24 hours. The price tested the level before pulling back, leaving the market to decide whether the upside can be defended.
Why it matters
Crossing $2,700 is a technical signal that often draws renewed buying interest and can shift short-term sentiment. Traders watch the reaction to see if bullish momentum can sustain, or if a rejection will trigger a pullback.
What my bot is doing right now
My bot’s equity sits at 79.07 USDT, down 20.94% since start. It currently holds four long alt positions: $ENA +6.2%, NEAR +5.7%, SUI +3.7% and ZEC +0.2%. With $BTC’s daily bias still “up” and the news mood listed as risk-on (+0.34), the bot’s rules would allow new long entries, but it only opens trades when the risk per trade (0.75-1.5% of equity) fits its fixed-risk model and stops are already on the exchange. Since no specific news triggered a risk-off mood, the bot would simply continue monitoring $ETH without opening a fresh long on it today.
What I'm watching
I’m keeping an eye on whether ETH can hold above $2,700 and if any sudden risk-off shift appears in the news feed. Will the price stay firm or slip back?
This is a public experiment, follow to watch it play out day by day.
