If you're still treating all crypto ETF flows as one number, stop now.
That shortcut is how traders miss rotations and end up buying the asset that's actually losing capital. Last week made the cost of that mistake obvious.
US crypto ETFs posted $70.7M in net outflows, which looks like a simple risk-off print. It wasn't. $BTC finished the week +$6.1M after $433M flowed in on Friday as Bitcoin reclaimed $80K. $SOL attracted $60.7M, with nearly 97% of those inflows going to one product.
Ethereum was the outlier on the other side. $ETH ETFs bled $140.6M even with a strong Friday. Some will argue this is just ETH lagging before it always catches up. The flows don't look like lag to me. When Bitcoin and Solana take in money and Ethereum is the only major leaking it, that's rotation.
Where do you think this capital goes from here?
