To set up a Binance Brazil account, register one personal profile through the official website or verified app, confirm the chosen sign-in method, configure supported account authentication, select Brazil only as your true residence and complete KYC. The legal name, CPF, identity document, face and any address evidence must describe the same person. Pix and other BRL methods are evaluated separately after verification, so creating a password alone does not complete the account setup. đ§đ·
Build the Brazil Account in the Right Order đ±
The website and app can use slightly different labels, but both lead into the same personal-account sequence:
Open a genuine registration entry point. Use Binance's website or the verified mobile app. If an account already exists, choose the login or recovery route instead of creating another profile.
Choose a personal account. Entity onboarding is a separate process for a legal organization. Do not use a personal profile to register business ownership or activity that requires an entity account.
Select a sign-up method. Use an email address, mobile number or supported linked sign-in option displayed for the account. Choose a method you control and expect to retain.
Confirm the selected method. Enter the code sent to the email address or phone number, or complete the confirmation required by the linked sign-in provider.
Create the password and review the terms. Follow the password rules presented on screen and read the account terms and privacy information before continuing.
Enter location facts by their labels. Residence, nationality and identity-document issuing country are different fields. Select Brazil as residence only when it is true, then answer the other fields independently.
Binance permits one verified personal account per person. If an earlier account is tied to an inaccessible email address, phone number or password, recover that account. A second registration does not detach the identity record from the first profile and can lead to a duplicate-account review.
Once the login exists, open the account's Security area and add a supported authentication method such as an authenticator or passkey where available. Keep control of the registered email address or mobile number so a new security factor does not remove the remaining recovery route. Account authentication protects access; it does not replace identity verification.
Then open Identification, Unverified, Verify or Get Verified, depending on the interface. Reaching this area begins KYC; it does not repeat the registration step.
Four Brazil Records Must Describe the Same Person đ§©
A smooth verification depends less on the number of documents you have than on whether four records reconcile:
The Binance profile: Your legal name, date of birth, nationality and country of residence must be entered in the fields that ask for them. Residence and nationality are not interchangeable.
The taxpayer record: A CPF or other taxpayer identification number must belong to you and match any tax-residency declaration presented during onboarding.
The identity evidence: The issuing country, document type, document images and facial check must correspond to the applicant named in the profile.
The payment record: If Pix or another BRL transfer method becomes available, the bank-account holder's name and CPF must align with the verified Binance user.
These are reconciliation points, not four different registrations. A correct CPF cannot repair a blurred identity document, and successful facial verification cannot make a third-party bank account eligible for a personal transfer. Before starting, compare the spelling and order of your legal name, birth details and residential information across the records you intend to submit.
Complete KYC in the Order the Screen Requests đȘȘ
The verification page for the account is the controlling document list. Do not prepare a generic bundle and assume every item will be accepted. Work through the live flow in this order:
Choose the country of residence. Select Brazil only when that accurately describes your residence. The choice should agree with the personal information and any address evidence requested later.
Enter personal details. Copy the legal name, date of birth and other identity fields from the document you plan to use. Do not shorten a name, translate it informally or replace it with a social name unless the interface provides an appropriate field.
Choose the issuing country and document type. Select only a government-issued document listed for your profile. The available menu, rather than an outside guide, decides whether a passport, identity card, driver's licence or another document can be submitted.
Capture the original document. Provide every side requested, keep all edges visible and make the text and photograph readable. Reflections, fingers, screen glare, cropped corners and edited images can prevent automated checks from reading the document.
Complete the selfie and liveness check. The account holder must appear alone, in even light, without a filter, hat or glasses. Allow camera access and follow the movement prompts shown in the app or browser.
Review before submission. Check that the displayed details still match the document. If Binance requests supplemental information, answer through the authenticated account rather than sending identity files to a person who contacts you elsewhere.
The verification result should appear in the identity area, with a related account notification where applicable. A request for more information is not permission to substitute another person's document, CPF or face.
CPF Is a Matching Field, Not a Substitute for Photo ID đ§Ÿ
CPF is central to identity, tax and payment matching in Brazil, but it should not be confused with the photo-document step. Enter your own CPF when the Binance flow asks for it, using the format the field accepts. The associated legal name must be consistent with the verified profile and, later, with the holder of any personal bank account used for BRL transfers.
A Brazil profile may also be presented with a tax-residency self-certification. This form can ask for the country or countries where you are tax resident and the corresponding taxpayer identification number. Review any prefilled information, correct inaccurate fields through the permitted route and declare every jurisdiction the form requires. Tax self-certification is a separate record: completing it does not replace document capture or facial verification.
A foreign national who truthfully resides in Brazil should not change nationality to Brazil merely to make the fields look uniform. Enter each fact according to the question, choose the actual document-issuing country and use only the document types offered for that combination. If the flow requests a CPF or another local record, provide the applicant's genuine information rather than borrowing a relative's or employer's details.
Use Proof of Address When the Account Requests It
Proof of address may appear as an additional verification level, a supplemental review or a requirement connected to a feature. If it is requested, the document should identify the same person and residential address entered in the Binance profile.
An acceptable file normally needs to show your full name, home address, issue date, issuer and an issuer reference such as an account or document number. It should also fall within the document-age limit shown for Brazil in the upload screen or applicable support guidance. Use an eligible category from the live list, which may include a utility or service bill, bank or financial statement, government correspondence or a residence certificate.
Submit the full relevant page in colour, keep all corners visible and avoid blur, glare, cropping or digital alteration. If an issuer supplies an original downloadable statement and that file type is accepted, it usually preserves details more clearly than a camera photo. Do not assume the identity document already used for KYC can be reused as address evidence; follow any instruction requiring a different document.
Diagnose a Rejection by the Field That Failed
Resubmitting the same bundle rarely fixes a specific mismatch. Read the reason shown in the verification area and change only the defective part:
Personal details do not match: Compare the legal name, name order, birth date, nationality and residence with the selected document. Use the identity-information update route if an existing verified record is wrong or no longer accurate.
The document cannot be accepted: Confirm the issuing country and document type, check that the original remains valid, and retake every requested side with readable text and complete edges.
Document capture cannot be read: Move away from glare, clean the camera lens, use a plain background and hold the camera steady. Uploading a sharper image is more useful than repeatedly sending the same crop.
The face check does not match: Make sure the applicant completes it personally, with the full face visible and no filter or accessory that obscures facial features.
The address file is rejected: Check the name and address against the profile, then confirm the issue date, issuer details, page completeness and accepted document category.
A CPF or tax prompt remains incomplete: Correct the taxpayer number or tax-residency declaration in that step. Uploading the photo ID again does not resolve a separate tax field.
The account appears to be a duplicate: Recover the existing account or follow the authenticated support route. Do not keep creating new personal profiles.
If Binance asks for extra evidence, submit it only through the signed-in verification or support flow. A legitimate review can request clarification, but it does not require remote access to your device or a transfer to another user.
Treat Verified, Pix and Product Access as Separate Decisions
Verified status is the identity gate Binance requires for functions such as crypto deposits, trading and withdrawals. It confirms that the submitted customer record passed the applicable verification level; it is not a promise that every product in Binance's global interface is available to a Brazil-based account.
Pix is another decision layer. Binance's Brazil-facing Pix route is intended for verified individual users, but it still has to appear in the user's own deposit or withdrawal interface. The personal bank or Pix account should belong to the verified Binance user, with the same name and CPF. A transfer from a friend, relative, company or other third party can fail the ownership check even when the Binance account itself is verified.
Before initiating a BRL transaction, inspect the payment method, account-holder instructions, fees, limits and recipient details shown in the live flow. If Pix is absent, KYC approval alone is not evidence that the route should be available; account eligibility, payment-provider checks and the displayed terms still control it.
Confirm the Account Setup Before a BRL Transfer â
The useful completion signals are visible inside the account. The identity page should show the required verified level, the personal details should be accurate, and any tax self-certification or address request should no longer be outstanding. Only then should you check whether Pix or another BRL method is displayed for that profile and whether its ownership instructions match your bank account.
This sequence keeps the decisions clear: registration establishes access to the profile, KYC verifies the person, tax and address requests complete additional records, and the payment screen determines whether a BRL route can be used. If one layer is missing, resolve that layer rather than restarting the entire application.
