Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has made a major bullish prediction for Bitcoin.
Speaking at Bitcoin Asia 2026 in Hong Kong, CZ said he believes Bitcoin could become more important than gold and potentially overtake it during the next major bull run.
📊 According to CZ: • Gold’s market cap is still around 10× larger than Bitcoin’s • The gap could narrow as institutional and sovereign adoption grows • Countries may gradually shift part of their reserves toward Bitcoin • The transition from gold to Bitcoin will take time because countries already have established gold reserve systems
CZ’s comments come as Bitcoin has recently staged a strong recovery, gaining more than 25% over the previous week.
