I used to think leverage looping was mainly a UX problem. Deposit collateral, borrow stables, buy more collateral, deposit again, then repeat. Every extra loop adds another transaction, another gas cost and another execution point
Aave governance noted leveraged LST positions could require a dozen or more transactions. The discussion also highlighted fee sensitivity when the staking-yield and borrowing-cost spread narrows. That makes TermMax’s GT + Flash Loan design more than UX upgrade

If leverage is easier to build, the next question is whether enough executable liquidity exists when leveraged users need to unwind. Consider one hypothetical $1 million leveraged position. If a sharp market move forces similar positions to unwind at once, atomic construction does not guarantee atomic liquidity. Execution can be perfect while the market absorbs selling pressure through depth, slippage and counterparties. TermMax can reduce execution complexity without making market liquidity infinite
That is more interesting than the “one-click” label. The original problem was operational friction: too many steps and too much cost. GT + Flash Loan can compress that process, but the remaining dependency moves toward unwind liquidity under stress. Capital efficiency improves entry; it does not guarantee an efficient exit
