Today, Binance is removing ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY and VIC from Spot trading.

The delisting takes effect August 17 at 03:00 UTC, following Binance’s periodic project review.

This may look like news affecting only six projects.

It isn’t.

It’s a reminder of one of crypto’s most underestimated risks:

āš ļø A LISTING IS NOT PERMANENT

Getting onto a major exchange can create liquidity, visibility and credibility.

But projects must continue demonstrating things such as development activity, sustainable ecosystem participation, security and compliance with the exchange’s standards.

When that deteriorates, liquidity can disappear much faster than investors expect.

🧠 NIAZI TRADES INSIGHT

Before holding an altcoin long-term, don’t only ask:

ā€œHow high can it go?ā€ šŸš€

Also ask:

ā€œWhat could make liquidity disappear?ā€

My four checks:

šŸ” DEVELOPMENT — Is the team still building?

šŸ’§ LIQUIDITY — Can significant positions actually exit?

šŸ‘„ ACTIVITY — Is there genuine ecosystem usage?

šŸ›”ļø EXCHANGE RISK — Is the asset showing warning signs on major platforms?

Protecting capital isn’t bearish. It’s what keeps you alive for the next opportunity.

šŸ’¬ COMMUNITY QUESTION

If Binance announces that an altcoin you hold will be delisted, what’s your FIRST move?

šŸ”“ SELL immediately

🟔 REDUCE exposure

šŸ” RESEARCH before deciding

šŸ’Ž HOLD regardless
