Wait… you can place a LIMIT ORDER on an interest rate?
That was the feature that made @TermMax click for me.
On a DEX, a limit order usually means:
“I’ll trade when the token reaches my price.”
TermMax applies a similar idea to fixed-rate lending and borrowing.
Instead of simply accepting the available rate, users can place a limit order around the rate they actually want. TermMax currently supports this alongside fixed rates and defined maturity dates.
So imagine:
You want to lend, but the current rate isn’t attractive enough.
Rather than constantly checking the market, you set your target and wait for matching liquidity.
That made me realize TermMax isn’t simply another place displaying APYs.
It is trying to make interest rates themselves tradable market conditions.
Price has an order book.
Why shouldn’t interest rates have one too?
That’s a much more interesting way to understand what @TermMax is building.
Would you use a limit order for lending rates?
