#📰 Binance Latest Update: (August 13, 2026)

Today, Binance Research published key findings from its Half-Year 2026: Exchanges & Institutions report, confirming that crypto platforms are rapidly evolving beyond simple trading venues into full financial superapps, integrating payments, tokenized assets, equities, and investment products in a single unified account. This shift away from competing purely on trading fees is already driving major product rollouts across the ecosystem.

One of the most notable recent milestones is bStocks, Binance’s tokenized stock offering, which has overtaken Kraken’s xStocks to become the second-largest tokenized stock issuer globally, reaching $610.6 million in total value less than two months after launch. Binance has also rolled out its new VIP Earn hub, delivering VIP users up to 20% higher APR on more than 20 token yield products to improve capital efficiency within the platform ecosystem.

Internal data also shows a meaningful shift in user behavior: Gen Z traders are now net accumulators, not speculators, with 76% of bStocks and 77% of Binance equities holdings held by this demographic indicating strong long-term investment intent. Binance co-founder Yi He also recently noted that 24/7 crypto markets and tokenization will likely phase out traditional 9-to-5 trading hours as global markets continue to digitize. Founding CEO CZ added that this ongoing market share growth is rooted first and foremost in user protection and trust, rather than aggressive promotional spending.

Emerging markets remain the core of Binance’s user base, accounting for 77% of total active users and 83% of users holding multiple platform products as of the end of H1 2026.
