Huawei Technologies Co. and Apple Inc. extended their lead at the top of China’s smartphone market in the June quarter, with both expanding shipments, according to Bloomberg, citing IDC.

IDC said consumers either opted to buy premium devices or skipped upgrades amid a memory crisis.
