Beginners luck is real in #crypto

I remember when I made $2k from futures trading in a week as a beginner.

I was so confident and started to give my friends calls.

I even offered my cousin $500, and was like when you make profit on that and you can give me back the $500 😂.

Not knowing what lay ahead.

I would open $2k margin trades with 10x leverage 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Thats how confident I was in my ability (not knowing I was just a 🤡).

Bro I was so confident I told my gf, “give me $3k, I’ll multiply it for you” (spot, not futures).

When the losses started coming in, they came in haaaard.

I remember one time about last year April, I lost a trade, and opened an even bigger one immediately after 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Then obviously lost that too.

I lost more than 6 trades in the span on 3 days.

I was so confused, thinking to myself “ I thought I was good at trading”.

- 5 mins technical analysis and No stoploss 🤦🏽‍♂️.

My trading account went from $7,500 to $10k.

That’s how I got confident.

I Kidd you not, it went from $10k to $0 in 2 weeks.

What did I learn?

Life lessons:

- Beginners luck is real

- Never get too complacent or cocky in anything you do

- Always try to improve no matter how far you’ve come

Trading lessons:

- Be extremely patient

- Don’t go with hunches or feeling

- Always use technical analysis

- Never revenge trade

- Never risk more than %3 of your portfolio.
