Michael has been holding 2 $BTC on Binance since 2021. Like many long-term Bitcoin holders, he wanted access to liquidity without selling his BTC. He also didn't want to use wrapped BTC, bridges, or custodial solutions.

Michael created his own Trustless Bitcoin Vault and locked 1 BTC directly on the Bitcoin blockchain using a Taproot script. His BTC never left Bitcoin, was never wrapped, and stayed in a vault owned only by him

After repaying the loan, he simply redeemed his BTC back to his Bitcoin address.
