There is only one way to verify gold with 100 percent certainty: melt it. Verification requires destruction. Bitcoin does not. It self-verifies in seconds. No experts. No labs. No trust. A public ledger secured by math, instantly checkable by 300 million people from anywhere in the world. For 5,000 years, gold’s monetary premium came from scarcity. It is a full inversion of verification costs in the 21st century. When the leading voice of the gold camp cannot verify the bar in his own hand, the argument writes itself.
